| Polluted beach |
Kovalam is one of the finest beaches on the Indian
shores. Some 13 Km from Trivandrum - the
state capital of Kerala. That day when I visited, the sky was overcast and it
rained in the evening. The beach is now bearing the signs of environmental
pollution. The sands are no more pristine as a layer of black soot is visibly
prevalent.
